Topic: Leadership Coaching as a Strategy for Performance Excellence
Leadership coaching: seems to be the new buzzword, but what is it? It is an approach to working with leaders to help them maximize their abilities and it also refers to a leadership style when working with teams. Both are becoming more and more common in organizations and are extremely useful to enhance the pursuit of performance excellence in an organization at any level: teams, departments, quality in daily work life, process improvement. What difference can leadership coaching make in the pursuit of performance excellence? If we think of coaching as empowering, discovery, awareness, tapping personal and professional potential, helping people and teams get from where they are to where they want to be – it can put performance excellence in whole different light – or at least how we get to performance excellence.
