The Business Driver - Use the Information
Some commonly applicable uses include:
- Using the feedback from this questionnaire to make a list of actionable issues prompted by the level 1, 2 or 3 responses.
- Deciding which of these could add most value to the business if you put in improvement effort - think about how critical these things are to business, whether customers have been lost because the same problems keep recurring or whether there are obvious areas where improvements will have immediate effect.
- Targeting how many of these you want to see at level 4.
- Planning what you need to do to make this happen.
Finally, as you make improvements, keep a log of the positive effects those improvements have, and learn to build on your own good practice.

If you have received your employees' responses to the questionnaire:
- look at the questions you answered and compare how your responses to questions marked with an asterisk * compare with your employees' answers to similar questions.
- look at the patterns - do they reflect your own perception of the business and your leaderships style?
- ask yourself whether you are surprised at their responses, and if so, why?
- decide what you can learn from their feedback and how it may affect your list of actionable issues.
- think about how you can involve your employees more in improving business.
Use this questionnaire at regular intervals, at least annually, so that planning improvement becomes an integral part of your business year.
